In 1999, the beatification of Padre Pio, an elderly woman named Emilia shows the presence of a high priest of the Holy See. It is the last witness of the works of the friar from Pietrelcina. The woman began her story starting from 1918, when he met the monk and goes up to the years of World War II. Emilia tells the uncompromising faith of the priest, his life lived close to the poor and to the Lord, his tireless work, and recounts his suffering for the stigmata and his desire to create a hyper hospital, even in the face of many difficulties and an earthquake.

Historic victory for Italy in Strasbourg after 5 years of debate, the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has in fact fulfilled Country of violating human rights with the presence of crucifixes in classrooms does not violate human rights. The Judges have accepted the argument according to which there is no evidence showing any influence on the pupils of the symbol of the Catholic religion.

The crucifix - he explains - sums up the values \u200b\u200bof Christianity, the principles underpinning the European culture and Western civilization itself: respect for human dignity and its freedom. It 'a symbol, then, that does not divide but unites and his presence, even in classrooms, is not a threat nor the secular state, nor to religious freedom. "

In the video, after a series of photographs of the officers and papal soldiers, there is a sequence of images and photographs relating to the battle. Then you scroll through the names of all the papal fallen from 1860 to 1867, which are engraved on the monument built by Pius IX in the Verano cemetery in Rome. It ends up with the trophy, Randi wanted by Cardinal Romagna, made with weapons taken from the partisans in Mentone and Monterotondo, with no written praevalebunt.
With this video we reiterate our unconditional adherence to the cause of Christ the King and the Apostolic See "against everything that opposed the doctrine, tradition and sentiment of the whole Roman Catholicism (Monsignor Umberto Benigni).

The need to provide as much as possible to the religious institution of tender youth we advised the press of a Catechism, which clearly sets out the rudiments of the holy faith, and divine truth, which must inform the life of "every Christian. Therefore, without examining the many textbooks in use in the dioceses of Italy, we thought it appropriate to adopt the text with minor tweaks a number of years approved by the bishops of Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Emilia and Tuscany. The "use of this text will be compulsory for the" public and private education in the Diocese of Rome and all other of the Roman Province, and we trust that other dioceses will want to adopt it to arrive so that a single text, at least for the " Italy, which is in "universal wish. One of those things that help "fill the vessel" waiting for the fateful drop! Overnight destructive of atrocious pain, wake up for work, running to catch the bus, halfway news that the work has jumped down to the shelter and waiting while you call the world to try to communicate a series of changes, traffic arrival dell'agognato half ... now, obviously, the coveted half was packed with people clinging to the walls of sliding doors and ladies who clamored to get the back doors! We balde maidens who have made the university in Rome there Codest care about trifles, and go up! The problem is that I was not in Rome! Ladies and gentlemen, if I say that I go down to the next, but I get ... DO IT! There is no need to go into panic! No need to grumble about everything and everyone and that the bus is full or there is no traffic ... I realize for itself! St. Augustine was born in Africa Tagaste in Numidia - now Souk-Ahras in Algeria - 13 November 354 to a family of small landowners. From the mother receives a Christian education, but after reading the Hortensius of Cicero embraces the philosophy by adhering to the neck. It dates back to 387 the trip to Milan, the city where St. Ambrose knows. The meeting proved to be important for the faith journey of Augustine is baptized by Ambrose. Later he returned to Africa with the desire to create a community of monks after the death of his mother goes to Hippo, where he was ordained priest and bishop. His works on theology, mystical, philosophical and controversy - the latter reflecting the intense Augustine takes the fight against heresies, which devotes most of his life - are still studied. Augustine for his thought, contained in books like "Confessions" or "City of God", has earned the title of Doctor of the Church. While Augustine is besieged by the Vandals, in 429 the saint became seriously ill. He died Aug. 28 in 430 at age 76.
WORDS OF HIS HOLINESS BENEDICT XVI
Dear friends,
at the end of this great spiritual journey, which was made in the film we've seen, I feel bound to say thanks to all those who have given us this vision. Thanks to the Bavarian Television for their efforts - and is a great joy rather casual remark made three years ago, was the beginning of a journey that has led to this magnificent representation of the life of Saint Augustine. Thanks to Lux Vide and thanks to Rai for this project.
In fact, it seems to me that the film is a spiritual journey to a continent away from us very spiritual and yet very close to us, because the human drama is always the same. We have seen how, in a context for us very far, you are representing the whole reality of human life, with all problems, sorrows, failures, and the fact that, ultimately, the truth is stronger than any obstacle and find the man. This is the great hope of remaining at the end: we can not find their own truth, but the truth, which is people, there is. Externally, the life of Saint Augustine seems to end so tragic: the world for which he lived and where it ends, is destroyed. But as has been said here, his message remained, and even changes in the world, it continues, because it comes from the Truth and guidance to the Charity, which is our common destination.
Thank you all. We hope that many saw this human tragedy, can be found the truth and find the Charity.
An appeal to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI on Education on the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum
Holy Father, we the undersigned:
1. We express our deep gratitude to Your Holiness for your own personal example liturgical offered to the universal Church. She is really a homo liturgicus, whose love for the liturgy is an inspiration, it teaches more clearly the centrality of the words of the liturgy in the Church.
2. We thank Your Holiness for your gift to the Church of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum in 2007. From that year it has borne much fruit, including a greater unity in the Church of Christ and a widespread enrichment of the liturgical life of the Church.
3. We note with sadness the opposition is continuing and real implementation of Summorum Pontificum in many dioceses and from many members of the hierarchy, suffering and discomfort that continues to cause many to believe in Christ and the obstacle that this opposition is to an effective reconciliation within the Church.
4. We note with concern the apparent signs of an imminent Education on the Summorum Pontificum, which restricts in any way the provisions contained in the motu proprio and limit its broad scope, so eloquently expressed by Your Holiness magnanimous letter in which the measure "We open our hearts and give generously to all that space allows the faith."
5. We express our grave concern that the restrictions would cause any scandal, strife and suffering in the Church and frustrate reconciliation that Your Holiness so ardently desired; also prevent the continuation the liturgical renewal and development in continuity with Tradition, the fruits of his already remarkable pontificate.
6. We express our hope, our desire and our urgent appeal to the positive effects that Your Holiness has already obtained through His Summorum Pontificum can not be hindered by such restrictions.
7. We appeal to Your Holiness and with filial confidence, as obedient sons and daughters with sin pleased that you, Holy Father, should consider promptly to our concerns and take action where it deems appropriate.
8. We assure Your Holiness to our continued prayers, our deep affection and our fidelity.
